Ando in Fukuoka

Food and service were excellent, but too pricey in our opinion. We had fugu and didn't die, so you should be fine if you ordered that as well. 😂

Bring back memories, old style fish restaurant, top notch services and classically cooked food. Would come back in a heart beat.

Visited Chikae Fukuoka during dinner time without any reservation and managed to get seats. Seafood is so fresh and good. Food is delectable! Extremely enjoyable dinner experience.

Dinner set was expensive, and ONLY FEW piece sashimi included in the set, other dishes are just soso and it is only a normal food, nothing special! The most ANGER point is the tempura, they use the fish bone, the rest part of the fish to make the tempura instead of using fresh fish to make it, but cost us 6000 yen per person, and the dishes is totally mis match with their menu photo, menu photo have many seafood, but the fact is only few piece sashimi, that's all! Never go again, and never recommend others to go! Not worth!

Loved this place for their amazing lunch but since about 6 months ago, they stopped their lunch set menu. It is an establishment of Fukuoka. I truly miss it.

You want fresh? How about still moving on your plate fresh? The stadium seating around the seafood aquarium is a sight to behold, especially when the chefs head out to grab your live seafood order. The Ika (squid) is a must. The service is friendly with a few good English speakers there. Worth every yen, even though the yens can add up quickly!
